Mary Transom of Ohope, New Zealand created Sheer Vision, a portrait of her mother who, in her later years, became blind and deaf. Her loss of vision was a cruel blow, as she could no longer create her lovely applique quilts, except in her imagination.

Vision 2020 will premiere at the Australasian Quilt Convention in Melbourne, 16-19 April 2020 with a curator floor talk daily at 1.30pm.
