Here’s a glimpse of Lateral Inhibition by Kim Simpson of Kyabram, Victoria, Australia. Lateral inhibition is the process in which the neurons and eye work together. This is how some optical illusions are created. It is intriguing that a colour, here turquoise, can appear to change depending on its neighbours.
